Resumen

Este trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar el concepto actual de la economía política ambiental a partir de la comprensión como fenómenos evolutivos de la racionalidad instrumental a la racionalidad política de los problemas ambientales. Se revisan brevemente las perspectivas de la política económica ambiental desde los votantes o electores, grupos de interés y desde la valoración normativa de la democracia para posteriormente encontrarse en la racionalidad de la política ambiental. Finalmente se analiza la economía política ambiental global e internacional.
