About the Journal
Focus and scope
Ra Ximhai is a biannual scientific publication, edited by the General Coordination of Research and Graduate Studies of the Autonomous Indigenous University of Mexico. Its objective is the publication of scientific articles, case studies, essays and book reviews in Spanish, linked to the social sciences, in the lines of Education for Peace and Socio-Intercultural, Socio-Cultural Sustainability, Anthropological and Cultural Studies, Studies in Economics, Justice, Inequality and Migration and Social and Regional History.
The works must be original, unpublished and with a contribution to knowledge. It publishes articles in Spanish and English. In addition, it provides immediate free access to its content, which encourages a greater exchange of global knowledge.
All works are submitted, in the first instance, to an editorial opinion, which consists of verifying that the work corresponds to the theme of the journal and that it complies with all the established guidelines.
Only when the editorial opinion is accredited, the declaration of originality necessary for formal registration is signed, thus beginning the review process.
Subsequently, the articles will be subject to a peer review process under the double-blind modality by two members of the journal's portfolio of referees, which is made up of prestigious academics from national and international institutions.
The works will always be submitted to review by referees external to the institution to which the authors are assigned.
The resolutions of the review process are: approved for publication without changes; approved for publication with minor changes and must be restructured.
In the case of discrepant results, a third review will be sent, which will be final.
The results of the reviews are final.
The reviewers are the only ones responsible for reviewing the changes made in the case of results subject to resubmission.
The duration of the review process is determined by the number of articles on the waiting list. The journal's editorial coordination will inform the authors of the progress of their work in the review and editing process.

If the opinion of the two evaluations is to restructure, the work is rejected.

Open access policy
This journal is open access, so its content is available free of charge, at no cost to the general user. Users can read, download, distribute, print and link to the full texts of the articles, as long as it is not for profit and the source is cited. In order to promote a greater exchange of global knowledge.
Plagiarism Policy
All submitted manuscripts must be accompanied by an anti-plagiarism report, containing a maximum of 20% of the total.

Authors retain their copyright. If the work is accepted for publication, they grant the journal the right of first publication of their work, under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 2.5 Mexico License, as well as the right to modify the text in the style correction, store, reproduce, publish, communicate and publicly transmit their work, in any form, medium, or modality for scientific, academic, cultural and dissemination purposes, giving credit to the author(s).
All signed articles are the responsibility of their authors and not of Ra Ximhai Journal or the institutions to which the signatories belong and do not reflect the opinion of the journal.
