The aim of the study is to compare the development of the graphic art of Kadiwéu children aged 3 to 9 years with the patterns described by different authors on the production of non-Indian children. Work was carried out through drawing workshops, first, with two children, one aged two and the other three. Later, visiting the village for two to three days, carrying out analytical work during four monthly sessions, with a group of children aged 7 to 9 years, selected for two years. Drawing workshops were organised with children of different ages. The three phases of graphic art were identified in the production of the Kadiwéu children: scribbling, intentionally figurative drawings and the representation of objects that are defined in their relationships with other objects. In the three phases, the identity and influence of the work on Kadiwéu pottery is highlighted, and is discussed from the perspective of ethnopsychological theory.
