Abstract

The use of urban transport in the city of Uruapan Michoacán, as in the rest of the country, is essential. The bus routes are marked with labeled numbers, but in the darkness of dawn, night or on a rainy day, their identification is difficult due to the material used, which is generally white shoe polish. Using high-brightness LEDs, screens can be built based on seven-segment digits that display the route number. Without the need to use programmable devices, each segment can be turned on/off in a basic way and thus obtain any number from 0 to 9, being able to reduce material costs and achieve circuits with less fragility.
