Electronic response communications for ethnic identities at the Autonomous Indigenous University of Mexico

Abstract

The attention to higher education of the Autonomous Indigenous University of Mexico opens its doors to the indigenous and mestizos of Mexico, with a modern sociocultural and technological support. The incorporation of members of different ethnic groups brings with it its cultural references that the institution must preserve and promote. In the technological aspect, the appropriation of communication techniques through the computer is privileged, that is, in the field of efficiency, of the technical, but it is necessary to analyze how they affect the sociocultural aspect especially in their ethnic identity. The concepts of culture, technology and what technological communication systems mean such as emails, chats, web pages, are reviewed, behind their usefulness. This document reflects on the meaning of sharing and communicating cultural aspects through computer technology.
