Abstract

This qualitative research article presents the relationship between human rights and peace in high school. The importance of the study focuses on human relations expressed through language and behavior in teachers and students during daily school coexistence. The materials used were those necessary for academic work in the classroom, some stationery and technological. The process was based on ethnography for peace, based on observation and structured interviews; the results show the nuances that oscillate between the presence and absence of human rights and peace, because there are peaceful practices, but also violent ones that hinder healthy coexistence. The conclusions point to transversal school projects that make possible the respect of human rights, to build environments of peace in the school from the collective.
