Abstract

This paper is a reflection on how negative social practices present in the ways of coexistence of the economic agents that make up the tourist industry of Mazatlán are the determining factor to explain the stagnation that the city has been experiencing in recent years. The analysis of this essay is carried out under an economic geography approach, which takes into account the specifications and qualities of a place to explain its conditions and development potential.
