Abstract

The results described in this article were p ossible thanks to the sup p ort and financing of the Secretary of Public Education-Undersecretary of Higher Education-General Directorate of Higher University Education, which with the p roject Promotion and strengthening of the link with the rural community / indigenous p eop le in the sy ndicate of M ochicahui, El Fuerte, Sinaloa, allowed the realization of field work and the op p ortunity to disseminate the findings that are of great imp ortance for community life.This article is the first installment of a dissemination task that is oriented to two fundamental asp ects, first, to be a rep ository of the knowledge of which the communities are dep ositories, the ancestral p eop les who have a very deep knowledge of nature that them surrounds and we are not only talking about traditional medicines, the diversity of knowledge that in times of environmental crisis emerges as a p ossible alternative is very wide, second, the op p ortunity to sp read the uses of natural medicine existing in the communities will allowthe y oung and future generations know, value and rep roduce this knowledge
