Abstract

The main objective of this work is to present the analysis of the topic: The School Constructing a Culture of Peace as a non-violent alternative that allows building a peaceful school coexistence, constitutes a contribution to the research "The School Constructing a Culture of Peace from Coexistence spaces within the framework of the Improvement Route in the J230 school zone". In this research, the Action Research method was used and the results are translated into findings when expressing the practice of peaceful and violent relationships between students as Johan Galtug (1998) points out; direct, cultural and symbolic violence. It concludes by recognizing the school as a nodal axis to promote egalitarian spaces, which in addition to generating learning environments, promote the development of citizens, which will be reflected in the processes of human coexistence.
