Abstract

One of the actions required by teacher training institutions is to review the reflective part of our teaching work, this aspect being one of the elements that we consider relevant in the training process of teachers, and of the teachers who train teachers themselves, due to the fact that today improving educational practices is based on this and hence the orientation towards professional preparation. On the one hand, only the curricular and instructional aspects have been prioritized to favor teaching and learning. And this is not bad, but it requires that all teachers submit to a more interactive form with our practice, especially since teacher training institutions have not only profiled in their academic profiles professionals who never imagined that they would enter teaching and who, simply because they are professionals, do not submit to a formative and reflective process of their own practices, so that much of what is oriented to future teacher students does not impact beyond the classroom. This somewhat idealistic proposal has given us a new perspective on where all those involved will have to go: as teacher trainers and for the future teachers we train.
