Abstract

Study and analysis of the economic and social impact and influence that fishing activity carried out in the Melchor Ocampo dam represents for each municipality; the number of fishermen who reside permanently in each municipality; location of reception centres and tilapia processing centres; etc., it was determined that the study should focus on Angamacutiro, the municipality where the dam basin is located and where the vast majority of fishermen reside.
