IA use Policy

The Ra Ximhai scientific journal requires authors, reviewers, and editors to be transparent and responsible in their use of artificial intelligence tools at all stages of the editorial process, from drafting to manuscript evaluation and editing.

Authors must declare in their Letter of Originality the AI tools used, their purpose, and the extent of their involvement in the manuscript's development.

The responsibility for the accuracy, originality, integrity, interpretation of results, and veracity of the content rests solely with the authors. AI models or chatbots (such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, or others) may not be listed as authors or co-authors of manuscripts, as they lack legal, ethical, and academic responsibility for the content they generate. The use of AI does not exempt authors from adhering to the principles of scientific integrity, academic originality, and respect for copyright.

Editorial decisions and academic opinions must be based on human evaluation and cannot rely exclusively on artificial intelligence tools. These tools may only be used as a technical or administrative support resource, without replacing the academic judgment of those responsible for peer review and editing. When peer reviewers use artificial intelligence tools to support their evaluation work, they must notify the journal's editorial board confidentially.

Failure to disclose the use of AI, the generation of false information or the inclusion of nonexistent references, the presentation of AI-generated content as the sole result of human work, or any use contrary to the principles of scientific integrity and editorial ethics may result in the rejection of the manuscript.

Authors, reviewers, and editors must use artificial intelligence respecting the principles of confidentiality, data protection, and intellectual property that govern the journal's editorial process.
