Anti-plagiarism and Originality

The journal Ra Ximhai maintains a strong commitment to academic integrity and the originality of published works. Each submitted manuscript undergoes a review using the specialized software Turnitin during the editorial evaluation stage to detect textual similarities, self-plagiarism, or inappropriate use of sources.

The reports generated by Turnitin are analyzed by the journal's editorial team as part of the initial editorial assessment. The presence of textual similarities is not, in itself, an indicator of plagiarism; each case is analyzed individually, considering the nature, extent, and context of the similarities detected.

Submitted works must be original, unpublished, and include proper attribution of all sources used. The journal rejects works that contain partial or total plagiarism, duplicate publication, data manipulation, or misappropriation of ideas and reserves the right to reject, suspend the editorial process, or withdraw a manuscript at any stage if academic misconduct is detected.

Any suspicion or report of academic misconduct will be handled with rigor, confidentiality, and impartiality. Reports should be submitted in writing to the journal's editorial office (raximhai@uaim.edu.mx), accompanied by a detailed description and, where applicable, supporting evidence.

The editorial office will evaluate the case and, if deemed necessary, may request explanations from the authors. In cases where required, it may consult the Editorial Committee and external specialists. When the identified similarities warrant it, the journal may request clarifications, supplementary documentation, or a revised version of the manuscript before issuing an editorial decision.
