Digital preservation policy
The Ra Ximhai Journal ensures that its digital content remains available, complete, and accessible over time through storage, backup, and interoperability mechanisms.
Published files (PDFs) are hosted on the servers of the Autonomous Indigenous University of Mexico, which have automated backup systems and undergo periodic reviews to verify document integrity.
Each article has an active DOI and standardized metadata, guaranteeing its traceability, authenticity, and compatibility with indexing and information search platforms.
Digital preservation encompasses both the published files and the editorial metadata associated with each contribution, including authorship, dates of receipt and acceptance, persistent identifiers, references, and publication records. The objective of this policy is to safeguard the journal's scientific collection and maintain continuous open access to its content, regardless of any technological, institutional, or platform changes that may arise.
